OPPO had introduced its new and unique under-display self-camera technology on the Tech platform early this month. So far, where selfie-cameras were given with Waterdrop Notch, Pop-up and Punch-hole display, Oppo’s this phone will have a camera at the bottom of the screen which you cannot see from the outside. So far this information was given by Oppo and only a short clip was shared on social platform Twitter. But soon this technique will come out in front of everyone. On June 26, 2019, Oppo will be going to present this unique technology to the world.
Oppo has shared a teaser image on Microblogging site Weibo that the company is about to bring its under-display camera technology to the world. How tech works
Punch-hole display camera technology is the latest technology of camera plates on display. In this, there is a small hole on the phone display and the selfie camera fit in this hole. But in-display selfie camera technology will be an advanced version of this technique. In-the-way self-camera technology will also work in the same manner as in-display fingerprint sensors work on the smartphone. That is, just like a fingerprint sensor, this selfie camera will also be invisible and will not be visible from the outside.
How it works
The selfie camera will be invisible in the upcoming smartphones equipped with this technology. It is being speculated that this phone will actually be equipped with two display rather than one. The display will be displayed on the one hand just below the phone display. The Selfie camera sensor will fit just below the display. Along with the camera, the light sensor will also be given on this display. This light sensor will work with both displays. The technique will be such that as soon as the selfie command is given, the camera sensor on the bottom display will start working and the photo will capture.
This selfie camera will work from the bottom of the display and the user will not see it from outside the display. This technique will be quite similar to the in-display fingerprint sensor. These fingerprint sensors also fit under the display that is not visible from the outside. When the finger is touched on the display, the fingerprint sensor below reads that touch and unlocks the phone.
