Xiaomi unveiled its Poco smartphone brand in August 2018. The first smartphone of this brand is Poco F1. However, users have been waiting for a long time to upgrade Poco F1. It was estimated that it would be Poco F2. Meanwhile, a Xiaomi phone has been listed on the benchmark site Geekbench.
This is indicative of the work being done on the Poco X2. The listing of the benchmark site has revealed that the alleged Poco X2 smartphone out of the box will run on Android 10. Last month, Allwin, head of Pocophone Global, indicated that the Poco F1 upgrade would be launched in 2020.
From the Geekbench listing, we got information about Poco X2. Some important specifications have been made public with this. It is learned that the new smartphone will have a new Snapdragon processor with Android 10 codenamed “phoenixin”. It is possible that it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. This processor has been used in Redmi K30.
Apart from Qualcomm chipset, Poco X2 will have 8 GB RAM. Benchmark listings have shown that the phone has got a score of 547 in single-core test and 1,767 in the multi-core test. The listing showed that the upload date is 14 January.
Xiaomi has not given any information about Poco X2 yet. However, the specifications mentioned in the Geekbench listing suggest that this phone will be a re-branded version of the Redmi 30. 4G and 5G variants of this phone will be brought in China.
Only this week a trendmark listing revealed information about Poco F2, an upgrade to Poco F1.
